1.方針は次のいずれか。

① 副詞句と副詞句の比較で書く。

 ・「アジアの他のどんな国においてより日本においてのほうが、多くのノーベル賞

 ・「日本においてほど、ノーベル賞受賞が者が多い場所はない[国はない〕」

  →(別解1)

② 名詞と名詞の比較で書く。

 ・「日本はアジアの他のどんな国より多くのノーベル賞受賞者を有する」

  →(別解2)

 ・「日本ほどノーベル賞受賞者を輩出した国はアジアにない」→(別解3)(別解4)

2.(解答)の in Japan の位置は文頭でも可

3.(別解1)は〈否定的な副詞+疑問文の形式の倒置形〉が用いられている。mpwhereは名詞ではなく副詞。

4.「ノーベル賞受賞者

 ・Nobel Prize winners あるいはpeople who have won [have got] a Nobel Prize とす

 る。 後者は「経験」を表す現在完了形を使うのが適切。

 ・a Nobel Prize winner 「ノーベル賞受賞者」は、a Nobelistとも言えるが、それほど

  一般的ではない。a Nobel laureate とも言う。

Further Exercise

 I would work for a large company for the following reasons.

 Firstly, at a large company I would get a higher salary and bonuses.  A large company is unlikely to get bankrupt so my life would be stake.

 Secondly, there would be many employees, some of them from overseas, so I would be able to get to know a wide range of people.

 Thirdly, I would like to work overseas and would have more chance of being sent abroad by a big company.  Then I could make use of my English and any other language I might learn at university.
